The City of Red Deer will be promoting Earth Hour once again this year.

Help to raise awareness of energy consumption and its impacts on climate change. Mayor Morris Flewwelling will be doing a formal proclamation to officially pronounce Saturday, March 27 from 8:30 – 9:30 PM this as Earth Hour in Red Deer.

Once again The City will be shutting off unnecessary lights and power consumption at City Hall, the Collicutt Centre and other City facilities.
