On the Path to Sustainability: Farming a Grass Based Model and Practicing Stewardship

We will show and explain how we use this model to raise poultry and hogs on pasture as well as how we manage the land for grazing cattle. Over the last 14 years, our farm has benefited from the knowledge & wisdom of many partnerships who have taught us the value of conservation.

As we tour the farm, they will share their expertise and the importance and value of:

Riparian Areas: Cows and Fish
Wetlands: Ducks Unlimited Canada
Trees: Agroforester, Agriculture & Rural Development
Biodiversity: Augustana College
Ecosystem Management: Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada

Approximately 45 min east of Camrose on Hwy 26. A map will be provided to all registered participants.
