Tim's cups piling up?

paper cups

Are these piling up at your workplace, in your home, or in your car?

Did you know: Tim's paper cups are recyclable in the Red Deer Blue Box?  They are!

OR  - of course, where possible take your own reusable travel mug. Did you know that Tim's (and most coffee retailers) give discounts for beverages in refillable mugs?

When helping with the Green Deer clean up in my neighborhood this year I couldn't help but notice lots of the trash had the logos of the businesses that are in my neighborhood. There were lots of things that I picked up that came from 7 Eleven. Its not the businesses fault. I seem to notice when I pay attention when I am walking that many people throw their garbage out the car window without a second thought. When exactly did this become acceptable behavior? More importantly how could we go about changing this behavior?Reply
