Site Tours, Workshops, and Field Days to add plants to the Canada 150 Food Forest, Pollinator Garden, and riparian areas (beaver habitat)

  • Sunday, May 6 - International Permaculture Day - site tour and clean up of spring floods - 1pm to 5pm
  • Tuesday, June 3 - Water Quality Awareness Day - 6pm to 9pm
  • Friday and Saturday, June 22 & 23 - Pollinator Garden Planting and Hotel Repair - (times TBA)
  • Saturday and Sunday, August 18 & 19 - Alberta Open Farm Days - site tours
  • Friday through Sunday, September 28 - 30 - Alberta Culture Days - site tours and hands-on demos and workshops including the 2nd annual Garlic City Market presented by Peavey Mart - garlic festival fundraiser (pop-up market) to restore the barn as a timber frame structure
  • late October / early November - riparian beaver habitat planting with the AgroForestry & Woodlot Extension Society (AWES) and Olds College Land & Water Resources program
